		<description>I&#039;m pleased it&#039;s progressed since this morning when it looked like it was going to be &#039;blogging by press release&#039; and is starting to look a little more like it - actual page, link from the home page. I&#039;d be happier if there was a hint about future developments (comments, RSS) - if there was, I&#039;d have no problem with it being up in this plain format for a week or however long.

But that&#039;s fascinating background to Jim Murphy&#039;s blogging history, thanks Simon. It makes me think that Miliband&#039;s original blog, and how it&#039;s been embraced and developed at FCO, is one of the biggest genuine social media/2.0 beach heads we&#039;ve seen in government to date.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m usually very positive about any attempt by the government to do this stuff...but this strikes me as being a pretty poor effort. Fine if it is in development, but why not just wait a week and do it properly? I just can&#039;t see any new friends being won by doing this so early when the Scotland Office web setup clearly isn&#039;t ready.</description>
