Hello, Simon, sorry took me a while to catch up on this one. I got the impression that 50% of their Lordships didn't understand what we were on about. One also asked a medical correspondent how on earth he could do medical journalism without being a doctor....

If anyone fancies watching the committee coverage, it's available on iPlayer until the weekend. Quite interesting, although inevitably it concentrates almost exclusively on the press channels: departmental press offices, and the Lobby system. It's only in their final summings-up when the blogosphere gets a mention.
