Agree re. Rudd, although not entirely surprised that my exchange suggestion didn't make it into the live debate. Very interesting to watch the proceedings up close. No real dialogue, but that wasn't to be expected; any actual businesses that gets done at events like this doesn't take place on the record or during formal sessions.

Actually, I thought Rudd came across exceptionally well. But yes, the reference to 'low hanging fruit' did produce a laugh in the office. Not from me, though... I've spent too long in management meetings. You'll be able to relive the fun later today, when we get the archived video from Saturday on the progov.pm.gov.uk site.

the sydney morning herald has a hysterical take, i'm wondering how you (or anyone) coped translating ruddisms like this:

Live mobile video is available through bambuser, which also allows others to comment on what they are watching - so that is one way of covering the press conferences which simply requires someone with a decent mobile phone and 3g broadband.

Simon, As I said on my post, I thought it was fantastic and like you, I hope there will be more. In fact, there is no reason why it could not be used at party political conferences as well as major organisational events.

My audio problem was caused by having two pages open from the site. When I closed one of them, it was fine.
